On her way…

Everything considered, Kitchie and I decided that she should come home to the Philippines to pay her last respects to Tatay who has passed away recently.
My family and I apologize for Timothy and I not being able to be on the trip. We would definitely want to be there as a family, but there was just no way for us to do so.
A lot of people were kid enough to ask about us, and if we could do without her for the duration of her trip. Kitchie and I say that we have been doing pretty well with our current setup, so please don’t worry about us here.
Taking time off work today for helping make sure everything will go flawlessly while she is away, and another next week to go and pick her up, will make things a bit easier for me as the week progresses. Besides, Timothy is such a good boy and will not be hard to keep an eye on. In fact, Tim is eating while watching his favorite series, Star Wars: Clone Wars at the moment. And later on, he will be asking to watch Play School and other cartoons as he eats a snack.
Take care on your trip honey. Tim and I miss you already. Please send our regards to everyone, and pray for Tatay’s good journey for the both of us too. We love you.
Update
As the day progressed, it seemed that Timothy was starting to realize that Kitchie won’t be home for a while. Almost like clockwork, hour after hour he asks when his mom would come home. It did not matter what I try to do to take his mind away from it. He would still ask, and then come to tears when I tell him that he would have to wait a week to see her.
Dinner was pretty easy, thanks to Kitchie pretty much preparing all our meals until she gets back. I ate with the little padawan as together we watched more of the Star Wars: Clone Wars series.
Finally put him to bed at about 7:00pm after a bit of discussion and a little more crying. Overall, he is fine, its just that it is his first time away from Kitchie.
