The Telecommuter @ 5

I never would have thought that the idea of me blogging would push through, let alone last 5 years. A lot of things has happened since then. Some of my dreams and aspirations have become reality, and some things that I have been yearning for are now by my side.
Time and technology hasn’t really been in my side lately. Too much work to do and spare time is allocated to family and personal things.
The widespread use of Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites take away the time and creativity that I should actually focus on my own brand… that is, this blog. I was hoping to have the redesign of The Telecommuter up well before my blogging anniversary, but this has obviously fallen behind, along with other things I try to keep up with.
I will however, eventually get the ball rolling again. I need to get some of of my design priorities in line with the ever decreasing time I could spare. It was cool at first, but I fear that being a one-man design / development guy is slowly taking its toll on me.
But, like anything else, this too shall pass.
The Telecommuter is now 5 years old.
