Leann and Jeremy's Engagement

Our good friends the Mañegos and Nilos invited us to Leann and Jeremy’s Engagement party. This gave me the chance to try my luck at taking some photos for such an event.
There was a lot of guesswork and trial and errors with this one. With the dim lighting and various colored spotlights that change color every so often, nothing I read has prepared me for such a shooting environment.
Everyone was nothing short of encouraging though. Not one person made me feel that I was not doing a good enough job of taking photos. And even if I wasn’t able to take as much as I wanted to, this has taught me a lot of things, should I try to pursue more of photography as a hobby or even a new venture.
Fortunately, most of my shots were decent enough to show to everyone. I will try even harder the next time around.
