One childhood dream

As children, my brother and I never really got to go outside the Philippines. But it was a childhood dream of mine to see and be in the presence of Singapore’s Merlion.

Our trip in the Philippines gave us the chance to spend some hours in the city state, and our friends Joan and Marj obliged us with a little walking tour. It was wonderful to see our old friends again and let Timothy be able to see places outside Australia and take in some of the different differences in culture.

Being able to set foot on Singapore also gave us the chance to help out family with some logistics issues. It was our pleasure to help them out.
