Tim plays Basketball

Most days, as I come to pick little Timothy up from school, I see him amongst the older kids running around and playing in the basketball court. And every single day he tells me how much he likes to play and if one day we could play with him.
So Kitchie and I decided that it was time for us to get the little Padawan his own ball and look for a place where we could play with him. Thankfully, Kitchie was able to spot a place on our way to JB-Hifi, and made sure to make a stopover before coming home.
Tim was just a burst of energy running around and shooting hoops. When I was younger, I really had a good time shooting hoops with friends and I wasn’t half bad either. But almost half of my age was spent away from the sport so it seemed that it was actually the little boy giving his old man some tips in basketball.
Not only was it a chance for me to actually make a mark in Timothy’s young life, I was also able to take the opportunity to do a little bit of photography as well… it has been a while since I actually did some “decent” shooting, and I was afraid I would not know what to do in the event that I needed to pull out the camera.
About an hour later, both father and son were pretty tired, and all three of us had heaps of fun. Oh and there are some photos up on Flickr for family and friends curious enough to look.
