    Filipinos at home and abroad mourn the loss of former Philippine president Corazon C. Aquino. She paved the way in freeing the Filipino people from the shackles that was the Marcos regime. We thank you for the vision, we thank you for your efforts. Rest in peace.

  • Michael Jackson, 1958-2009

    At one point in my life, I did listen to a lot of Michael Jackson’s music. And although it was very unfortunate that he got mixed up with “those” cases, it still didn’t change the fact that he was a brilliant musician and performer. Rest in peace MJ. Your music will live on forever.

    We only learned about the sad news today, and I just couldn’t believe my eyes. The Philippines’ Master Rapper Francis Magalona lost his bout with leukemia yesterday, the 6th of March 2009.

    Like the proverbial camel in the desert, South Australians have truly started to feel the summer heat. Today, we were greeted with a scorching 41° in temperature, and at 40° by 6pm, it didn’t feel like we would get respite.
