Its been a long time coming, and finally Metallica has returned with what seems to be their music of old in Death Magnetic. More noise, more riffs. My love for the band has strengthened.
As kids, my brother and I were influenced by how our uncles and aunts loved to listen to music. They were very particular to the music of Queen and George Michael.
Whether I am busy with Web projects, relaxing, doing nothing, or even pissed off at you know who in you know where… its either I listen to my music through speakers or plug in my earbuds and let time pass.
I first encountered Metallica’s music way back in 2nd year high school. When my classmates found out what I was listening to on my Walkman (even then I was keen on portable music), they would be surprised, saying I didn’t look the type.
