Despite the backlog of work and chores around the house, it’s always nice to do a little bit of relaxing in the weekend. All the more so if most our targeted goals for completion have been done.
Kitchie has been planning it for about a week now, and finally we were able to go to Haigh’s Chocolate Factory along Greenhill Road. It was wonderful to spend the whole day with my family.
I must admit that I am guilty of taking Philippine cuisine for granted. Back home, I used to always eat foreign cuisine… Japanese, Italian and whatnot. Its only when I feel like it (or enticed to) do I actually go and grab some of our own stuff.
Its so unfortunate that my online work got in the way of a trip to Victor Harbour with friends today. I really feel sorry for Kitchie and Timothy, being cooped up at home most of the week when I am off at work.
