Apart from basically not getting any support from the Australian government, our visa also prohibits us from applying and obtaining any form of credit, be it personal or your ordinary run-of-the-mill credit card.

Still no broadband, but I finally got myself in Facebook. MySpace is still popular up north and Friendster still is basically the in thing in Asia and most if not all of the people I know, but did I do the right thing?

I just got a rejection letter for my application for broadband from a second ISP. Although there are still a few more to go, I got a feeling that I might have to go through the process of waiting for the time telcos here in Australia get things together
