Another year has passed. It has now been over 3 years since we touched our feet on Australian soil. And until now, we still can’t believe that we made down under. 2009 was truly a bitter sweet year.
Time sure flies when you are having fun… and the last couple of days was a blast. But as much as we don’t like her to go, Powee has to return home.
I never would have thought that the idea of me blogging would push through, let alone last 5 years. A lot of things has happened since then.
It has only been a little over a day since Kitchie left for the Philippines. Timothy and I are doing fine despite the fact that we do miss her a lot, and Timothy, every so often, would ask for his mom
Everything considered, Kitchie and I decided that she should come home to the Philippines to pay her last respects to Tatay who has passed away recently.
Today seemed like any other weekend in the past couple of weeks… me waking up early to do some overtime at work. And as usual, I turn to check my emails and other messages just before I go.
Exhausted and stressed, I try to write this post as best as I can. The Philippines has just suffered its worst flooding in history, and thousands of our countrymen remain stranded.
