In an event like Saturday’s where basically all communications are down, and there is nothing but chaos, where does the family of the affected people go to for news and real-time updates?
If it were possible, cobwebs would have formed with the lack of attention this blog has been getting, but rest assured that everything is just great and that once things have died down a bit, I will be able to get back on the blogging horse.
Like the proverbial camel in the desert, South Australians have truly started to feel the summer heat. Today, we were greeted with a scorching 41° in temperature, and at 40° by 6pm, it didn’t feel like we would get respite.
The much-awaited, long-delayed rain for South Australians has finally arrived, and what at entrance it was, at least for this humble migrant and his family.
Coming from the record-breaking heat wave, the coming of rain is certainly welcome especially to South Australian farmers.
The weather here in Adelaide has been pretty freaky lately, but it seems like winter is coming, for the temperature has been dropping quite a bit, especially at night.
Despite my very hectic schedule, it looks like I won’t be able to do anything tonight. My toes and fingers are just freezing from this 12° C weather we have right now.
